Our Association exists:

To promote Marine Corps engineering in combat engineer, engineer equipment, utilities, bulk fuel, landing support (shore party), explosive ordnance disposal, topographic and construction surveying/drafting. To renew and perpetuate fellowship of all Marines, Navy, Army, and Air Force personnel or military engineers from allied nations who served with or were attached to USMC engineer organizations. To locate and account for all who so served. To promote preservation of an accurate historical account of USMC engineering and the contributions of USMC engineers during combat operations. And to foster solidarity of USMC engineers.  In conjunction with Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, recognize and honor outstanding leadership and achievements of individual Marines within the engineer related fields embraced by this association and honor outstanding achievements of Marine Corps Engineer organizations.

New applicants please view the BECOMING A MEMBER link in the MAIN MENU (to your left) then click on FACT SHEET and view or save. The same thing goes for our BY-LAWS link. Everything under the PUBLIC CONTENT in the MAIN MENU is viewable by visitors. MEMBERS area of the MAIN MENU are of course for Members only.

Members, once you are logged in,you will be able to navigate this website with the MAIN MENU (on Left) or the buttons HOME, FORUM, FILES, and USERCP (user control panel)(top of every page) this is how you navigate this website. We encourage you to click on each link to see where it takes you. When you go to certain links there will be (EXTERNAL LINKS) these are recognized by moving your mouse pointer over them and they will enlarge. When you clink on external links it will take you to a file or another extension of that page. If you click on BYLAWS link in the menu and then click on CURRENT BYLAWS a window will come up for you to OPEN or SAVE or CANCEL. That is an external link.

Most of you will be going to FORUMS here you will be able to view, read, and post messages or reply to messages. The FORUM area has many specific categories, please try to post messages in the proper area.

2010 SAME Transition Workshop and Job Fair
The 2010 SAME Transition Workshop and Job Fair will be held March 2-3, 2010 at the Embassy Suites - DFW Airport North Outdoor World in Grapevine, Texas, just 1.5 miles from the airport.

The Transition Workshop and Job Fair will connect members of the uniformed services who have recently left government service, or who will be transitioning from public service in 2010 or 2011, with Sustaining Member companies and DOD agencies that are looking for talent to pursue their DOD programs and projects. In addition, SAME members in the private sector who are unemployed due to downsizing or restructuring may take advantage of this targeted Transition Workshop and Job Fair.

FY11 DOD and Federal Agency Program Briefings
Sustaining Member companies will have the opportunity to gain key contacts and valuable information at the Department of Defense and Federal Agency Program Briefings, March 18, 2010.

SAME Academy of Fellows Golden Eagle Awards Dinner: March 19, 2010
